From the late Harry Canvin’s collection

The late Harry Canvin was a staunch member of the Western Front Association, his local branch being Milton Keynes. He devoted much time and energy to researching WW1 and prepared many talks he gave at various WFA branches. He made many battlefield visits and shot hundreds of slides which he used in talks.

He also collected other people’s images to use in his talks as slides; here you can see some of them. As far as I know, none of these have been published before.

Harry had many books, including ‘The British Legion Battle Field Pilgrimage 1928’. I scanned all the pages to include here.
