Harry Canvin’s ‘GSH’ slides

The images shown here are (to quote Harry’s notes) of photographs “from the collection of Lt. Col. Graham Seton Hutchison – copied – loaned to me by his son Dr. James Hutchison”. GSH served in and led actions including ‘The Quarry’, ‘Meteren’ and ‘High Wood’.

There are many more slides in Harry’s collection used for his GSH talks; but as far as I can tell the images which dated from the War were copied by Harry from published books he owned, so I haven’t included them. Others are of a trip Harry made with James in 1995 to visit places significant to GSH, some of which James had visited with his father in 1937.
